My Ph.D. research in cartography examines the role of context in promoting responsible data practices in the mapmaking process. The core of my research project consists of workshops with data visualization and mapmaking practitioners, in which we explore strategies, needs, and prototypes for embedding the data production context in the visualization workflow.
